Contrastingly, leaders employ a more individualized, inspirational approach to motivate and align team members' personal goals with those of the organization. They understand that their employees are unique individuals with different skills, strengths, and weaknesses. They focus on building relationships with their team members and inspiring them to reach their full potential. Leaders prioritize communication, collaboration, and empowerment over control and supervision.

The differences between leadership and management can be summarized as a push strategy versus a pull strategy. Managers use a push strategy, where they push their employees to achieve their goals by setting targets, deadlines, and expectations. In contrast, leaders use a pull strategy, where they pull their employees towards a shared vision by inspiring, motivating, and empowering them.

The importance of leadership in today's business world cannot be overstated. With the increasing complexity of organizational structures and the need for innovation and adaptation, organizations require leaders who can think strategically, communicate effectively, and inspire change.
